브랜드 전략가·Global Brand Strategist · Korea & APAC Market Entry

Korea breaks most global brand playbooks. I help brands re-engineer for it.

I’m Nakyum Song. I help foreign tech, gaming, and lifestyle brands win in Korea & APAC, where global playbooks break down faster than almost anywhere else.

For global tech, gaming, and lifestyle brands entering Korea & APAC

I build brand strategy that survives contact with the Korean market.

I’m a Global Brand Strategist based in Singapore and Seoul, working at the intersection of brand, market entry, and culture, with a focus on Korea and the broader APAC region.

Eight years across tech and gaming: Razer (Singapore, current), KRAFTON, LG, Hill+Knowlton. Global campaigns and brand systems across 15+ markets, built from inside the Korean market and shipped outward.

Foreign brands stall in Korea not because the market is uniquely difficult, but because the global HQ playbook breaks at Korean speed: pop-up-driven retail, generationally fragmented consumers, and social legibility as a signal that can decide a launch.

My work is closing that gap: brand strategy, market entry roadmaps, and the bilingual operating bridge that lets global teams move at Korean cadence without losing their brand.

What I Do

Strategy, market intelligence, and AI workflows for global brands entering Korea and APAC, built from the inside, not from a global HQ template.

Korea Market Entry Strategy

Brand positioning, go-to-market roadmaps, and launch playbooks for foreign brands entering Korea, built around how Korean consumers actually evaluate brands, not how global playbooks assume.

Outcome: faster traction in a market that punishes the global default.

APAC Brand Localization

Localized brand and campaign systems across Singapore, Korea, and the broader APAC region, without losing brand integrity in the translation.

Outcome: market-native execution that still reads as one brand globally.

Global Campaign Adaptation

Adapt global campaigns so they survive contact with Korean and APAC markets. Brand governance, market exceptions, and execution patterns that hold past launch week.

Outcome: campaigns that don't fragment into twelve regional rewrites by month three.

AI Brief & Prompt Architecture

Most brand strategies fail before the AI sees them. I help you structure briefs and prompts that produce brand-grade output at Korean cadence, not generic noise.

Outcome: sharper AI output that actually reflects your brand.

AI Output Review & Brand Judgment

AI generates fast. Someone with brand experience needs to decide what's right. I review AI-generated strategies, copy, and plans, then tell you what to keep, cut, or rethink.

Outcome: human-reviewed work that holds up in the real world.

AI-Driven Marketing Systems

Design AI workflows and content systems that scale brand output across markets without flattening voice or losing narrative consistency.

Outcome: higher output velocity without dilution.
